The Texas A&M University System is seeking an Assistant or Associate Professor of Geology for the College of Science. This 9-month tenure-track position will focus on teaching and research in geosystem modeling, Earth system dynamics, and bio-geosciences. Candidates should have a doctoral degree in a related field and a strong publication record. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, mentoring students, and conducting impactful research. The position is set to begin in the spring semester in Corpus Christi, Texas.
The College of Science invites applications for a 9‑month tenure‑track Assistant or Associate Professor of Geology in the Department of Physical and Environmental Sciences (PENS). The position will begin in the spring semester. The successful candidate will have expertise in geosystem modeling, data integration, Earth system dynamics and/or fields of bio‑geosciences. The incumbent is expected to demonstrate excellence in research and scholarship at both national and international levels; teach undergraduate and graduate‑level Geology courses and laboratories; be an effective teacher and mentor to undergraduates; and advise and supervise doctoral and master’s students in PENS graduate programs.
