Job summary

Horizon Goodwill is hiring a Donor Greeter to welcome donors, evaluate donations, and ensure a positive experience. You will handle donations with care, guide customers, and maintain an orderly donation area while following safety procedures.

The role includes help with staging items, processing paperwork, and supporting store operations as needed. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs, provide excellent service, and participate in required trainings.

Qualifications

• Greet and offer assistance to all customers, with a quick initial greeting.
• Ability to demonstrate exceptional customer service and professionally reject items not accepted.
• Determine usable and saleable items per guidelines for acceptable donations.
• Accurately track all donations per management standards.
• Maintain proper staging of donated goods and assist with workstation maintenance.
• Provide donors with exceptional service, including greeting within 10 seconds and handling donations with care.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organize hangers and racks.
• Follow safety and security procedures.
• Maintain product flow in line with store policies.
• Comply with all company policies including opening/closing tasks, pricing, markdowns, and paperwork.
• Receive and verify merchandise from warehouse and vendors.
• Participate in required training and cross-training as assigned.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
