Job summary

Goodwill Houston is seeking a Donor Greeter at our Tomball store to provide world-class donor experience, greet donors, assist with donations, and help maintain orderly, safe donations flow on the sales floor.

This role requires a high school diploma (preferred), ability to lift up to 40 lbs, and a friendly, professional demeanor. The Donated Goods Program supports the organization’s mission.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate effectively and interact well with individuals with diverse personalities and communication styles.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Greet each donor promptly upon arrival and invite them to return.
• Assist with accepting and sorting donations and placing items on staging areas.
• Move donated items to the sales floor and assist in pricing as needed.
• Record donations accurately and issue receipts to donors.
• Ensure PPE and safety rules are followed and maintain a clean work area.
