Job summary

Vitalant in Chicago is seeking a Front Desk/Donor Relations Specialist to greet donors at donation centers, educate them on donation procedures, and help ensure their comfort and understanding of pre-donation questions.

You will schedule future donations, assist donor services staff, monitor wait times, and support efforts to optimize donation opportunities through new techniques and donor programs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year of customer service experience required.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors at donation centers and provide education on donation procedures.
• Assist with ensuring donor comfort and answer pre-donation questions.
• Schedule donors' next blood donation appointments.
• Administer customer service and marketing surveys to donors.
• Review and enhance donor programs and collection technologies to optimize donations.
