Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee, Inc. is seeking a Retail Donor Specialist - Materials Handler Associate to deliver exceptional donor experiences and safely manage donated goods from the donation site to backroom processing.

The role supports production and store replenishment while maintaining safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment. You will assist donors, load and unload materials, and operate forklifts or pallet jacks as trained.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in retail, donation intake, production, warehouse, or customer-facing roles preferred.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift, and move donated goods as required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a positive donor experience at the donation site.
• Safely receive, handle, and move donated merchandise in backroom operations.
• Load, unload, and stage goods and trailers per safety standards.
• Operate material handling equipment as trained and authorized.
• Maintain a clean, organized backroom and comply with safety guidelines.
• Work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
