Job summary

Goodwill-Industries-of-Dallas is seeking a friendly Donation Processor to greet customers and donors, process donations, and issue receipts. You will assist with lifting items, sort and price goods, and keep the stockroom orderly and safe. The role supports a welcoming store environment and efficient donation flow.

Responsibilities include assisting co-workers, providing general information, following safety guidelines, and reporting issues to management as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to adhere to the organization’s Core Principles.
• Knowledge of retail and/or stock handling.
• Ability to listen and follow directions.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service.
• Ability to react calmly and respond to emergency situations.
• Knowledge of textile articles related to garment classification (gowns, shirts, pants, etc).
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and donors in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner; process donations and issue receipts.
• Receive donations and assist donors/customers with lifting items to vehicles as needed.
• Sort donations, assess quality, and price hard goods as required.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the stockroom and adjacent areas.
