Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Dallas is seeking a donation attendant for daily customer service and donor interactions at our Dallas location. You will greet donors, receive donations, issue receipts, and assist with lifting items into vehicles when needed.

Responsibilities include sorting donations, pricing hard goods, maintaining a clean stockroom, and following safety guidelines. This role requires attentiveness, a friendly demeanor, and reliable teamwork.

Qualifications

• Ability to adhere to the organization’s Core Principles.
• Knowledge of retail and/or stock handling.

• Ability to provide excellent customer service.
• Ability to react calmly and respond to emergency situations.
• Knowledge of textile articles related to garment classification (gowns, shirts, pants, etc).

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and donors with a courteous and professional attitude.
• Receive donations and issue receipts; help with lifting items as needed.
• Sort donations and price or classify items.
• Keep the stockroom and production area clean and organized.
• Provide general information to customers/donors and refer complaints to management.
