Qualifications

• Previous retail and/or stock handling experience is preferred.
• Ability to adhere to the organization’s Core Principles.
• Ability to listen and follow directions.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service.
• Knowledge of textile articles related to garment classification (gowns, shirts, pants, etc).
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds and up to 100 pounds with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Sort and price hard goods from carts or totes and determine quality of donations.
• Place and present merchandise on the appropriate cart for timely transfer to sales floor.
• Familiarize brands and collectibles for pricing standards.
• Categorize hard goods according to merchandising policies.
• Rotate stock promptly and maintain a clean, safe production area.
• Assist customers and direct them to proper areas, report suspicious activity.
• Refer customer complaints to management and respond calmly to emergencies.
