Job summary

Goodwill Houston is seeking a Donor Greeter to create a world-class donor experience through a friendly and professional demeanor. You will greet donors, assist with donations, and help ensure donations are processed efficiently and accurately to support the organization's mission.

Responsibilities include welcoming donors, sorting and staging donations, labeling equipment, and maintaining safety protocols.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively and interact well with individuals with diverse personalities and communication styles.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors promptly upon arrival and provide a welcoming, friendly experience.
• Collect donations using carts and sort them into appropriate categories.
• Accept furniture donations and move items to staging areas or sales floor as priced.
• Label equipment and ensure proper setup and labeling.
• Record donations accurately using the donor tablet and issue receipts.
