Job summary

Breakthrough T1D is seeking a Development Manager to drive integrated fundraising efforts across the Eastern PA and NJ territory, including the New Jersey Chapter. You will cultivate donors, recruit volunteers, and manage event portfolios to maximize revenue and engagement, partnering with national and chapter teams to grow the donor network.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of fundraising experience in a mission-driven organization with revenue responsibilities over $500k.
• Experience managing volunteers and working with donors and sponsors.
• Proven ability to meet fundraising goals and cultivate partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Secure event sponsors and corporate teams to drive revenue for assigned events.
• Coach participants in fundraising best practices and elevate activation.
• Develop recruitment and engagement events to boost participation and gifts.
• Implement revenue plans to achieve chapter income and engagement targets.
• Mentor volunteers and lead event leadership and committees.
• Represent Breakthrough T1D and promote its mission in the community.
• Maintain policies, monitor KPIs, and collaborate with partners on budgets and pipelines.
