Breakthrough T1D is seeking a Development Coordinator to drive fundraising events in the SE Michigan chapter. You will build relationships with donors and volunteers to expand revenue and engagement with community stakeholders.
The role emphasizes portfolio management across events, collaboration with chapter partners, and stewardship activities designed to increase support for Breakthrough T1D’s mission and programs.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of fundraising experience in a mission-driven organization with revenue responsibilities over $250k
- Experience cultivating and stewarding donors and supporters
- Strong energy, integrity, empathy, and teamwork
- Proven ability to manage event details, timelines, and deadlines under pressure
- Willingness to travel locally; evening and weekend work as needed
Responsibilities
- Fundraising & Engagement: develop revenue and engagement plans to grow the chapter and events
- Achieve personal event revenue goals and support overall chapter revenue targets
- Secure and retain table hosts, guests, and event sponsors; oversee auction procurement
- Collaborate with chapter partners to grow donor engagement and stewardship at events
