Breakthrough T1D is seeking a Development Coordinator to drive fundraising efforts and manage donor engagement across assigned events. This role focuses on building relationships with donors and volunteers to expand the chapter’s reach and revenue for events.

The DC will execute engagement strategies, collaborate with chapter partners, and ensure timely stewardship and compliance with organizational standards. Hybrid work and local travel are involved.

Qualifikationen

• Secure event sponsors and corporate teams to drive awareness and revenue.
• Provide 1:1 coaching of fundraising best practices at events.
• Develop recruitment and fundraising engagement events.
• 2+ years of fundraising experience in a mission-driven organization with revenue > $250k; experience with large-scale events.
• Experience partnering with active volunteers and large volunteer networks.
• Demonstrate energy, integrity, courage, empathy, and creativity; a team player.
• Proven ability to manage event details, timelines, and deadlines under pressure.
• Ability to be an enthusiastic spokesperson/representative of Breakthrough T1D’s mission.
• College degree or equivalent education/experience.
• Ability to travel locally; evening and weekend work as needed.

Aufgaben

• Fundraising & Engagement – Implement revenue and engagement plans to grow chapter performance and year-over-year growth.
• Volunteer Management – Ensure meaningful engagement of volunteers and collaborate with volunteer leadership to solicit funding.
• Awareness – Promote Breakthrough T1D’s mission and research opportunities within the community.
• Administration and Management – Maintain policies and procedures and support event logistics.
