Job summary

Breakthrough T1D is seeking a seasoned fundraising and engagement professional to drive revenue growth for its chapter. You will cultivate donors, manage signature events, and recruit volunteers to advance the organization’s mission in the community.

This role demands strategic thinking, relationship-building, and hands-on execution across multiple events. Expect strong leadership, exceptional communication, and the ability to travel locally with occasional evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of fundraising experience in a complex, mission-driven organization with revenue responsibilities over $750k.
• Proven ability to cultivate and steward donors, volunteers, and partners across multiple channels.
• Strong interpersonal skills, high emotional IQ, and ability to travel locally, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue and engagement plans for the chapter, meeting annual goals.
• Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward donors and prospects; retain and activate supporters for events.
• Recruit, develop, and manage volunteer leaders; engage in leadership and committees.
• Promote Breakthrough T1D’s mission and engage the community in research, advocacy, and trials.
• Collaborate with national/chapter partners to grow the event portfolio and pipeline.
