Job summary

CSL Plasma Center is seeking a courteous, detail-oriented donor screening assistant to greet donors and verify their eligibility for pheresis. You will support the screening process by reviewing health histories, answering questions, and performing basic health checks as trained.

Responsibilities include accurate data entry into the donor information system and adherence to HSE/OSHA policies. Cross-training and bilingual communication may be required to meet center needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 3 months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in medical or health provider environment.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors at the plasma collection center and conduct registration procedures to verify donor suitability.
• Assist with screening process per SOPs, including health history questions and basic medical screenings.
• Perform finger stick to obtain hematocrit and total protein levels.
• Assist in educating donors about donation processes and center policies.
• Maintain accurate donor data in the electronic donor information management system.
• Follow HSE and OSHA policies and ensure a safe work environment.
• Cross-train in other areas as needed and meet center needs.
