Job summary

CSL is seeking a staff trainer to support a plasma donor center. You will train reception staff, facilitate efficient donor flow, assist with donor screening, and educate donors on the therapies produced from donated plasma.

You will handle caller inquiries and monitor donor safety during pheresis. You will ensure accurate donor data entry, adhere to SOPs and HSE/OSHA policies, and assist management with scheduling, donor relations, and procedural issues.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months experience in a clerical or customer service role, preferably in healthcare or plasmapheresis environments.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations and handle donor data accurately.
• General knowledge of plasma pheresis operation and related procedures.

Responsibilities

• Train reception staff and facilitate efficient donor flow.
• Assist donors with screening and ensure SOP adherence.
• Educate new donors on therapies derived from donated plasma.
• Answer phones and provide caller information.
• Monitor donor reactions during pheresis and alert staff as needed.
• Optimize donor flow by directing staff and resources appropriately.
• Calibrate equipment daily and document issues, replacing as required.
• Provide guidance and training on procedures to staff as needed.
• Support center management with scheduling, donor relations, and procedure issues.
• Accurately record donor data in the electronic management system per SOPs.
• Follow Health, Safety, and OSHA policies and procedures.
