Job summary

CSL plasma center in Lincoln Park, Michigan is seeking a donor services associate to greet donors, verify eligibility, and guide them through registration and screening procedures.

You will perform basic health checks, record donor information, support safety protocols, and help educate donors about procedures and center policies. This role emphasizes confidentiality, accurate data entry, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and verify eligibility for plasma pheresis.
• Assist with donor registration and completeness of the screening process.
• Conduct basic health checks (BP, pulse, weight, temperature) per SOP.
• Perform finger-stick hematocrit and protein level testing.
• Educate donors on procedures, center policies, nutrition, and appointment systems.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic system.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow OSHA/HSE policies.
• Answer phones and route inquiries to the appropriate staff.
• Maintain donor confidentiality at all times.
• Cross-train in other areas to support center operations.
• Bilingual skills may be required as needed.
