Job summary

CSL Plasma is seeking a Donor Center Screener to greet donors, guide them through registration and screening per SOPs, and document donor information accurately. The role involves health screenings (BP, pulse, weight, temperature), finger-stick hematocrit and protein checks, and education on donation processes and policies.

You'll support donor flow, answer calls, maintain a clean, safe work environment, and protect donor confidentiality while adhering to HSE/OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors at the plasma collection center and conduct registration to verify donor suitability for plasma pheresis.
• Assist donors in completing the screening process per SOPs, including health history, basic medical questions, and referrals to medical staff as needed, plus health screenings (BP, pulse, weight, temperature).
• Perform finger sticks to obtain hematocrit and total protein levels.
• Educate donors on the use of plasma-derived products and donor processes after training.
• Register and transfer donors as needed, answer phones and assist callers, and maintain donor data in the information management system.
• Monitor donor responses during/after pheresis and alert staff as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with HSE/OSHA policies, maintain a clean, safe work environment, and protect confidentiality.
• May be cross-trained in other areas and may require bilingual skills.
