Job summary

CSL Plasma is seeking an on-site Donor Center Reception/Screening Associate to greet donors, conduct registration, verify eligibility for plasma pheresis, and support screening per SOPs. You will assist with health history, basic medical questions, health screenings, and data entry into the donor information system.

After training, you may educate donors on therapeutic products from plasma and center policies, while maintaining confidentiality and safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations

Responsibilities

• Greet donors at the plasma collection center and conduct registration to verify donor suitability for pheresis.
• Assist donors in the screening process per SOPs, including health history review, basic medical questions, and referrals to medical staff as needed; perform health screenings (BP, pulse, weight, temp) and finger stick for hematocrit and total protein.
• Educate donors on therapeutic products from donated plasma after appropriate training; explain screening, tests, appointment system, fees, center policies, nutrition, and other information.
• Register and transfer donors as needed after training; answer phones and route inquiries to the appropriate staff.
• Monitor donor reactions during/after pheresis and notify staff; escalate flow issues to supervisor; ensure accurate data entry in the donor information system.
