Goodwill Houston is hiring a Donor Acquisition Specialist to support the Donated Goods Program (DGP) by delivering outstanding donor service and managing donation flow at an Attended Donation Center. You will greet donors, process donations using the GRATIS steps, and help with sorting, receipts, and safety duties.

The role requires strong communication, reliability, and flexibility, with a focus on teamwork and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate and interact well with a variety of personality types.
• Poses excellent customer service skills.
• Retail sales experience is preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors to accept donations with a cheerful disposition.
• Perform GRATIS steps when accepting donations (GREET, RECEIPT, ASSIST, THANK, INVITE, SORT).
• Provide excellent customer service and invite donors to return.
• Maintain accurate records of donations and issue receipts.
• Communicate clearly with manager and Transportation Department.
• Assist with loading/unloading donations and equipment.
• Help with safety and janitorial tasks.
• Report any incidents or injuries immediately.
