Job summary

Goodwill Houston is seeking a Donor Acquisition Specialist to provide exceptional donor service and manage donation processing at an Attended Donation Center (ADC). You will greet donors, issue receipts, assist with unloading donations, and sort items for efficient processing while upholding policies and safety standards.

The role requires clear communication, reliable attendance, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to communicate and interact well with a variety of personality types.
• Retail sales experience is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet each donor to accept donations with a cheerful and pleasant disposition.
• Perform GRATIS when accepting donations: GREET, RECEIPT, ASSIST, THANK, INVITE, SORT.
• Provide excellent customer service, show appreciation to donors, and invite them to return.
• Collect donations using donation carts and sort them into categories.
• Maintain accurate records of donations and issue completed donation receipts to donors.
• Communicate clearly with the manager, Transportation Department, and leadership.
