Job summary

Goodwill Houston is seeking a Donor Acquisition Specialist to support the Donated Goods Program at the Dairy Ashford ADC in Houston, TX. You will greet donors, process donations, and uphold GWH guidelines to maximize efficiency and impact.

Key duties include performing GRATIS steps, maintaining records, and delivering excellent donor service while collaborating with the Transportation Department and leadership to ensure safe, friendly operations at the center.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate and interact well with a variety of personality types.
• Retail sales experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Greet each donor to accept donations with a cheerful and pleasant disposition.
• Perform GRATIS steps when accepting donations: Greet, Receipt, Assist, Thank, Invite, Sort.
• Provide excellent customer service, show appreciation to donors, and invite them to return.
• Collect donations using donation carts and sort into categories.
• Maintain accurate records of donations and issue completed donation receipts to donors.
• Ability to communicate clearly with the immediate manager, Transportation Department, and leadership.
