Job summary

Goodwill Houston is seeking a Donor Acquisition Specialist to support the Donated Goods Program. You will greet donors, process donations, and ensure exceptional service while upholding policies and procedures.

You will perform GRATIS steps to engage donors, sort donations, keep accurate records, and collaborate with the ADC Area Manager and Transportation Department to maximize impact.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to communicate and interact well with a variety of personality types.
• Poses excellent customer service skills.
• Retail sales experience is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and accept donations with a cheerful disposition.
• Perform GRATIS steps: GREET, RECEIPT, ASSIST, THANK, INVITE, SORT to engage donors.
• Provide excellent customer service and invite donors to return.
• Collect donations and sort into categories; maintain records and receipts.
• Assist with loading/unloading donations and equipment as needed.
• Maintain safety and security of team and property.
• Perform janitorial work and report incidents immediately.
• Demonstrate professionalism and work well in a team-oriented environment.
