MERS/Missouri Goodwill Industries is hiring a Retail Processor for the Springfield Store - Kansas Expy. The role supports daily donation processing, sorting, pricing, and stocking while delivering friendly customer service to shoppers and donors.

The position is hourly full-time with benefits, a monthly bonus, and a commitment to the mission of changing lives through the power of work.

Qualifications

• No degree is required. High School Diploma/GED Preferred.
• The ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, customers, and management.
• Must be organized and capable of interacting with a diverse work population.
• Necessary math skills include addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Responsibilities

• Handles all donations with care and respect.
• Sorts donated goods and purchased goods into categories: sales floor, seasonal, online sales, outlet, and trash.
• Inspects donated and purchased goods to distinguish quality and identify items for sales or recycling.
• Prices items within AMI pricing guidelines.
• Maintains store area cleanliness and organizes stock efficiently.
• Provide positive customer service interactions in person and over the phone.
