Job summary

MERS Missouri Goodwill in Jefferson City is seeking a Retail Processor to support store operations, assist donors and customers, and uphold the organization’s mission. The role is hourly full-time with a starting rate of $15.50 per hour and a monthly bonus potential up to $250. Candidates need no degree; HS diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• No degree required; HS Diploma/GED preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, customers, and management.
• Must be organized and capable of interacting with a diverse work population.
• Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Responsibilities

• Handles all donations with care and respect.
• Sorts donated goods and purchased goods into categories: sales floor, seasonal, online sales, outlet, and trash, according to guidelines.
• Inspects donated and purchased goods to distinguish quality and determine placement for sales floor, recycling, or online sales.
• Identify and price items within AMI pricing software guidelines.
• Maintains high quality and quantity standards while working quickly and steadily.
• Stocks, straighten, rotate, and maintain store area cleanliness and organization.
• Provide positive customer service interactions with in-person customers and donors.
