Job summary

MERS/Missouri Goodwill Industries in Sikeston seeks an energetic Retail Processor to join our Sikeston Store team. This hourly, part-time role supports our mission and values and offers a friendly, mission-driven work environment.

You will handle donations, sort goods, price items with AMI pricing software, assist customers, and help maintain store standards. Benefits include a monthly bonus up to $250, paid holidays, flexible schedules, and PTO accrual based on hours worked.

Qualifications

• No degree required; High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Effective communication with co-workers, customers, and management.
• Organized and able to interact with a diverse workforce.
• Basic math: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

Responsibilities

• Handle donations with care and respect.
• Sort donated and purchased goods into categories (sales floor, online, etc.).
• Inspect goods to determine quality and assign to sales floor, recycling, or online.
• Price items using AMI pricing software.
• Maintain high cleanliness and organization of store areas.
• Provide positive customer service interactions in person and over the phone.
• Support cross-functional communication with team members and leadership.
• Follow safety practices and keep aisles clear.
• Dress according to company policy and safeguard assets.
• All other duties as assigned.
