Job summary

MERS/Missouri Goodwill Industries is seeking an energetic Retail Processor to join the Carbondale Store - Main team. The role involves handling donations, sorting goods, pricing items, and delivering friendly service to customers, donors, and staff.

This hourly full-time position pays $15.50 per hour with a monthly bonus potential of up to $250. Full-time benefits include medical, dental, and vision, retirement plans, PTO, paid holidays, and flexible schedules.

Qualifications

• Requires no degree; HS diploma/GED preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, customers, and management.
• Must be organized and able to interact with a diverse work population.

Responsibilities

• Handle all donations with care and respect.
• Sort donated/purchased goods into categories (sales floor, seasonal, online, etc.).
• Inspect items for quality and determine appropriate placement.
• Price items using AMI pricing software.
• Maintain store cleanliness and stock levels.
• Provide positive customer service to shoppers, donors, and callers.
