Job summary

MERS/Missouri Goodwill Industries is looking for an energetic, self-motivated Retail Processor to join our Saint Robert store team. This hourly, full-time position supports the mission: Changing Lives Through the Power of Work, with a focus on accurate donations handling and customer service.

The role uses AMI pricing software to price items, ensures store cleanliness, and collaborates across teams. Benefits include health coverage, retirement plans, PTO, and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; not required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, customers and management.
• Organized and able to interact with a diverse work population.
• Basic arithmetic: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

Responsibilities

• Handle all donations with care and respect.
• Sort donated and purchased goods into categories (sales floor, seasonal, online, outlet, trash).
• Inspect items to determine quality and appropriate placement.
• Identify and price items using AMI pricing software.
• Maintain high quality and quantity standards while working quickly and steadily.
• Stock, straighten, rotate, and clean the store area.
• Provide positive customer service in person and over the phone.
• Build positive relationships with team members and leadership.
• Follow safe work practices and keep aisles debris-free.
• Adhere to dress code and safeguard agency assets.
