Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Tenneva is seeking a dependable Material Handler / Hardlines Production team member to transform donated goods into saleable merchandise. You will assist with donations, sort items, price and tag using the Celerant system, and move stock to the floor.

This role supports revenue for Goodwill's mission and community programs, with opportunities to grow retail and inventory skills in a hands-on environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Flexible availability including weekends.
• Strong customer and donor service skills.
• Willingness to learn pricing, tagging, and moving merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and assist with unloading donations.
• Inspect and sort donated goods into appropriate categories.
• Evaluate hardlines merchandise for condition, safety, and resale potential.
• Price and tag merchandise using the Celerant system.
• Identify unique, vintage, branded, or high-quality items for e-Commerce.
• Move processed merchandise to the sales floor and stock items safely.
• Keep donation, production, and sales areas clean and organized.
• Meet daily production goals while maintaining quality.
• Work with team members to keep donations and merchandise flowing efficiently.
