Job summary

Goodwill Industries Of Dallas Inc is seeking a Donation Processor to greet customers, process donations, and issue receipts in a fast-paced retail environment. You will help with lifting items, sort donations, and maintain a clean stockroom while following safety guidelines.

Responsibilities include assisting donors, providing information, and following CPSC procedures. The role requires standing, lifting up to 40 pounds, and delivering friendly, efficient service to shoppers and donors.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide courteous, friendly, and professional customer service.
• Knowledge of retail and stock handling processes.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Ability to react calmly and follow directions in emergencies.
• Familiarity with garment classification or textile-related items is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet each customer with a courteous, friendly and professional attitude; provide prompt, efficient, and accurate customer service at all times.
• Receive donations from donors and issue donation receipts; assist customers with lifting items into/out of their vehicles.
• Sort donations as they arrive into proper carts or bins and determine donation quality.
• Sort and price hard goods.
• Keep the production area and store areas clean and safe; maintain a neat appearance and wear name badge and vest.
• Provide general information to customers/donors and assist processors when needed.
