Job summary

MERS/Missouri Goodwill Industries in Saint Robert, MO, is seeking a Retail Donation Attendant to provide friendly customer service, assist donors with drop-offs, and maintain store cleanliness. The role supports our mission, “Changing Lives Through the Power of Work!”, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

The position is hourly full-time with an hourly rate of $15.50 and a monthly bonus potential up to $250.

Qualifications

• No degree is required; High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, customers, and management.
• Must be organized and capable of interacting with a diverse work population.
• Basic math skills include addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive customer service interactions, including greetings, assisting donors with their donation drop off, and offering thanks and any donation incentive and tax receipt.
• Handle all donations with care and respect.
• Sort donated and purchased goods into categories: sales floor, seasonal, online sales, outlet, and trash based on guidelines.
• Notify management of hazardous, valuable, or inappropriate donations.
