Job summary

MERS Missouri Goodwill Industries is seeking a friendly, self-motivated Retail Donation Attendant for our Cape Girardeau store. You will assist donors at drop-off, process donations, and help maintain store cleanliness and organization.

The role offers an hourly, part-time schedule with a base hourly rate of $15.50 and a monthly bonus potential up to $250. Benefits include medical, dental, and retirement plans for eligible employees.

Qualifications

• No degree required. High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Must communicate effectively with coworkers, customers, and management.
• Must be organized and able to interact with a diverse work population.
• Math skills include addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive customer service interactions, including greetings and assistance to donors at drop-off.
• Handle all donations with care and respect.
• Sort donated goods into categories per guidelines (sales floor, seasonal, online, outlet, trash).
• Notify management of hazardous, valuable, or inappropriate items.
