Job summary

MERS Missouri Goodwill is seeking a friendly Retail Donation Attendant to join our St Robert/Marshall team. The ideal candidate will help donors, assist with donation drop-offs, and keep the sales floor welcoming and well-organized.

This hourly full-time role pays $15.50 per hour with a monthly bonus up to $250. Benefits include medical, dental and vision coverage, retirement plans, PTO accrual and flexible scheduling. MERS Missouri Goodwill is an equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED preferred.
• Must communicate effectively with co-workers, customers and management.
• Must be organized and capable of interacting with a diverse work population.
• Mathematical skills include addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive customer service interactions, including greetings and donor assistance with donations and tax receipts.
• Handle all donations with care and respect.
• Sort donated and purchased goods into categories (sales floor, seasonal, online, outlet, trash) per guidelines.
• Notify management of hazardous or inappropriate donations.
• Maintain store area cleanliness and organization, including sweeping, dusting, mopping and stock rotation.
• Uphold dress code and professional appearance; safeguard assets and report incidents.
• Adhere to policies and safety regulations; perform other duties as assigned.
• Monthly Bonus Up to $250.00
