Job summary

Goodwill of Colorado is seeking an Associate I, Donation Services in Golden to greet customers and process donations at our stores and donation centers. You may lift or unload donations, sort items, and ensure quality before presenting them on the sales floor or preparing them for shipment.

The role requires working outdoors in all weather conditions, with donation hours Monday through Saturday 8–8:30 and Sunday 9–7 at stores, and 9–5 daily at donation centers.

Qualifications

• Requires good customer service and communication skills.
• Experience in retail or donation processing preferred.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work outdoors in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with donations in a courteous manner.
• Unload donations from vehicles and place in appropriate areas.
• Ensure items are sorted and handled with care for the sales floor or shipping.
• Inspect donations to determine quality and disposition.
• Maintain safe, clean work areas at donation entrances and parking lots.
• Support remote donation centers and coordinate with truck loading when needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Crosstrain in other areas and act as a back-up when required.
