Job summary

Goodwill Central Coast in Scotts Valley is seeking a dedicated Donations Processor to support store operations. You will welcome donors, assess items for acceptance, and issue receipts while recording donations accurately.

You will sort, wrap and pack donations, and help prepare goods for the sales floor to maximize community impact. Role involves standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and coordinating with transport for supplies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• On‑the‑job training provided for duties.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks with care.

Responsibilities

• Maintain donation area inside the store, keeping it neat and organized.
• Greet donors, accept or reject items, and explain reasons for rejection.
• Offer receipts and record donations on the daily log.
• Sort and stack donations and protect items from damage during packing.
• Coordinate with transport for donation status and supplies.
• Assist sales staff in preparing goods for floor display.
