Job summary

Goodwill-Industries-of-SAN-Joaquin is seeking a Donated Goods Processor to handle sorting, pricing, photographing and listing of donated items. You may assist customers and donors, operate POS systems, and support store maintenance and safety programs.

The role requires basic education and at least some experience in processing or warehousing, with the ability to work in a fast-paced retail setting. Flexible scheduling including weekends is common.

Qualifications

• Some high school education is required.
• Six months’ experience in processing, warehousing or customer service desirable.
• Knowledge of general retail store operations or warehousing is desirable.
• Ability to work with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, sorts, tags, hangs and/or stages saleable items in an efficient and timely manner.
• Assesses each article by quality, style, type and use.
• Tags, hangs, stages or lists item(s) according to work instructions/training.
• Operates cash register and/or computer with accuracy.
• Stages, merchandises, photographs and lists merchandise to enhance sales potential.
