Job summary

Goodwill-Central-Coast is seeking staff to manage donation intake at a California store location. You will greet donors, accept or reject items per policy, issue receipts, and record donations daily. You will sort and pack donations and assist in preparing goods for display on the sales floor.

The role may include duties of a Store Material Handler or Store Processor, including unloading donations and sorting textiles, with emphasis on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to communicate in basic English; Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain donation area neat, clean, and organized.
• Greet donors and explain acceptance of items; issue receipts when applicable.
• Record donation details on daily records; assist with sorting and packing.
• Assist sales staff with preparing goods for floor display.
• May perform Store Material Handler duties: unload donations and move items.
• May perform Store Processor duties: sort textiles and grade items.
