Job summary

Goodwill Central Coast is seeking staff to manage donations at the store, greet donors, issue receipts, and record donations. You will sort and pack items, wrap to prevent damage, and assist with floor displays. Some positions may involve material handling and processing duties.

The role requires basic English and the ability to follow procedures; Spanish is a plus. Physical duties include lifting and standing, with training provided.

Qualifications

• Communicate in basic English (oral and written).
• Spanish basics preferred.
• Understand and follow packing/stacking procedures.
• Coordinate eye/hand/foot movement to safely lift/stack donations.
• Maintain self-control and cooperate with coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain donation area neat, clean, and organized.
• Greet donors and explain donation decisions.
• Assist sales staff in preparing goods for floor display.
• Record donations on daily log.
• Sort donations into containers and wrap/pack to prevent damage.
• Coordinate with transportation for barrels, racks and supplies.
