Job summary

GOODWILL OF CENTRAL FLORIDA seeks a Donation Processor to greet donors, sort and price donations, and maintain a clean processing area. You will assist customers, tag garments, and help with stock rotation, following store policies and safety guidelines.

The role emphasizes reliable teamwork, strong customer service, and the ability to lift items and operate a barcode scanner. Prior retail or donation center experience is preferred, with a focus on efficiency and courtesy.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or donation setting a plus.
• Ability to provide courteous and accurate customer service.
• Ability to stay calm and respond to emergencies or safety concerns.
• Ability to follow directions and work well within a team.
• Knowledge of textiles and garment classification is useful.

Responsibilities

• Greet each donor/customer with courteous, friendly attitude.
• Receive and process donations including pricing and labeling.
• Issue donation receipts and assist customers with lifting items.
• Sort donations into appropriate carts/bins and maintain organization.
• Hang garments and prepare stock for the sales floor according to policy.
• Maintain clean, safe processing area and follow safety guidelines.
• Assist in color rotation and rotating stock for inventory flow.
• Direct customers to proper areas and handle general inquiries.
• Notify management of any security concerns or suspicious activity.
