Job summary

GOODWILL OF CENTRAL FLORIDA is seeking an associate to receive and process donations, rotate stock, and keep the sales floor organized. The role includes sorting hangers and textiles, assisting customers, and maintaining shop safety and cleanliness on a daily basis.

Preferred candidates have a High School diploma or equivalent and some retail experience. Knowledge of textiles helps classification of garments, and basic Internet lookup skills are expected.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail experience highly preferred.
• Beginner knowledge of the Internet and ability to look up information.

Responsibilities

• Receive donations politely and issue donation receipts.
• Rotate stock and bring stock to sales floor promptly.
• Place merchandise on textile racks and shelves per policies.
• Sort, box and label hangers by type.
• Assist in textile color rotation as needed.
• Greet customers with a courteous, friendly attitude and provide prompt service.
• Direct customers to proper areas and provide general information.
• Stay alert for shoplifting and notify management of suspicious activity.
• Keep sales floor and production area clean and safe.
• Uphold grooming standards and wear name badge and vest.
