Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Central Florida seeks a donation processing and sales associate to greet donors, issue receipts, and maintain a clean, organized floor. You will assist customers, rotate stock, and follow merchandise policies to ensure accurate garment classification and presentation.

Qualifications

Greet and assist donors and customers with professionalism.
Maintain clean and organized sales floor and production areas.
Provide accurate receipts and information to donors.
Follow merchandising policies for display and rotation of textiles.
Be alert to shoplifting and report suspicious activity promptly.

Responsibilities

Receive donations and issue receipts for donated items.
Rotate stock and place merchandise on textile racks and shelves.
Sort, box and label hangers by type for easy access.
Assist in textile color rotation and proper garment classification.
Greet customers and direct them to proper areas with helpful information.
Maintain a neat appearance and comply with dress code and name badge requirements.
Answer phones using established etiquette and refer concerns to management as needed.
Follow safety guidelines and respond calmly to emergencies.
Ensure cleanliness and safe operations in sales and production areas.
Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager.
