Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Central Florida is seeking a dedicated retail/donation associate. You will greet donors, process donations, issue receipts, and assist with lifting items. Maintain clean, organized stockrooms and price goods while upholding safety standards.

Applicants should have prior retail or stock handling experience and basic computer skills, including barcode scanning. Expect a friendly, professional environment with opportunities to support donors and customers daily.

Qualifications

• Previous retail and/or stock handling experience is preferred.
• Basic computer skills and beginner knowledge of barcode scanning.
• Ability to listen and follow directions.
• Provide excellent customer service and professional conduct.
• Follow safety procedures and respond calmly to emergencies.
• Knowledge of textile articles and garment classification.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers/donors with courtesy and professionalism.
• Receive donations and issue receipts; assist with lifting items.
• Sort donations into carts/bins and classify quality.
• Sort and price hard goods (wares).
• Keep production and store areas clean and safe.
• Maintain professional appearance with name badge and vest.
• Provide general information and assist processing when needed.
