Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Central Florida is seeking a front-line donation processor. You will greet donors, process donations, issue receipts and assist customers with lifting items. You will sort donations, price wares, and keep the area clean and safe, following safety procedures.

The role emphasizes courteous customer service, adherence to core principles, and ability to handle physical tasks in a retail environment.

Qualifications

• Previous retail or stock handling experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use a barcode scanner.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers/donors with courtesy and professionalism.
• Receive donations and issue receipts to donors.
• Assist customers with lifting items in and out of vehicles.
• Sort donations into carts or bins and assess quality.
• Sort and price hard goods (wares).
• Maintain clean, safe production and store areas as directed.
• Follow safety procedures and refer complaints to management.
