Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Central Florida is seeking a part-time Donation Processor to assist in accepting and processing donated items. This role requires friendly donor interactions, accurate receipts, and adherence to merchandising standards on the sales floor.

You will rotate stock, label hangers, and help with color rotation while maintaining a clean, organized environment and complying with safety guidelines. Ability to lift moderate weights is required.

Qualifications

• Polite and professional donation intake and receipt issuance.
• Able to rotate stock and bring items to the floor per procedures.
• Know how to place merchandise on racks and shelves per policy.
• Greet customers with a friendly, professional attitude.
• Remain vigilant for shoplifting and report suspicious activity.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and wear appropriate dress code.

Responsibilities

• Receive donations from donors and issue receipts.
• Rotate stock to keep displays current and well organized.
• Sort and label hangers by type for easy access.
• Assist in textile color rotation and merchandising tasks.
• Greet customers and provide courteous assistance and information.
