Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Central Florida is seeking an entry-level Donation Processor in Winter Garden, FL. This full-time role focuses on processing donations, assisting customers, and maintaining the sales floor with good merchandising practices.

You will greet donors, issue receipts, rotate stock, and ensure safety and cleanliness on the floor. The position requires basic internet skills and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly, with assistance for heavier loads.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous retail experience is highly preferred.
• Beginner knowledge of the Internet is helpful for performing job tasks.
• Ability to greet and assist donors/customers in a courteous manner.
• Standing and walking for long periods is required.
• Regularly lift up to 40 pounds and up to 100 pounds with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Receive donations from donors and issue receipts.
• Rotate stock and bring stock to the sales floor promptly.
• Arrange merchandise on racks and shelves per policies.
• Sort, box and label hangers by type.
• Greet customers and provide prompt service.
• Watch for shoplifting and notify management of suspicious activity.
• Maintain clean and safe sales floor and production area.
