Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Central Florida is hiring a donations assistant to process donations, stock floors, and maintain display areas. You will greet donors, issue receipts, and ensure merchandise is presented neatly on racks and shelves on the sales floor.

Responsibilities include rotating stock, labeling items, assisting customers, and following safety and quality procedures. The role requires a courteous attitude, reliability, and physical stamina for lifting up to 100 pounds as needed.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail experience is highly preferred.
• Ability to handle merchandise and assist customers.

Responsibilities

• Politely receive donations and issue receipts.
• Rotate stock on a timely basis per procedures.
• Place merchandise on textile racks and shelves.
• Sort, box and label hangers by type.
• Assist in textile color rotation per procedure.
• Greet customers with a courteous, friendly attitude.
• Direct customers to proper areas and provide information.
• Monitor for shoplifting and report suspicious activity.
• Keep sales floor and production area clean and safe.
• Maintain professional appearance including name badge and vest.
