Job summary

GOODWILL OF CENTRAL FLORIDA is seeking a team member to receive donations, issue receipts, stock and merchandise textiles, and assist customers on the sales floor. The role involves greeting donors, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring safety while following store policies and safety guidelines.

The position requires a High School education or equivalent, with prior retail experience preferred. The job also includes basic computer use for information lookup and standard store procedures.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail experience is highly preferred.
• Basic Internet search ability and information lookup.

Responsibilities

• Receive donations politely and issue donation receipts.
• Rotate stock and bring stock to the sales floor as needed.
• Place and present merchandise on textile racks and shelves per policy.
• Sort, box and label hangers by type.
• Assist in textile color rotation.
• Greet customers and provide courteous, prompt service.
• Direct customers to proper areas and provide general information.
• Stay alert to shoplifting and report suspicious activity.
• Keep sales floor and production area clean and safe.
• Maintain professional appearance and wear required uniform.
