Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona (GCNA) is seeking a store team member in Sykesville, MD to lead an excellent customer and brand experience and promote sales. You will receive and process donations, label items correctly, and assist customers with loading and unloading merchandise as needed.

The role requires strong customer service, ability to pass a forklift certification, English proficiency, and eligibility to work 18 or older. A background check and drug screen may be required.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to pass a forklift certification class.
• Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position.

Responsibilities

• Accepts all donations from customers, providing outstanding customer service.
• Label Gaylords correctly.
• Ensure receipts are offered to each donor.
• Inquire about hazardous donations and provide disposal locations.
• Write up sales tickets and signs for large items.
