Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona (GCNA) in Cottonwood is hiring a team member to deliver an exceptional customer and brand experience, receive donations promptly, and place items properly in the production room or sales floor.

The role requires unloading and loading merchandise, operating pallet jack and walkie stacker, and maintaining safety and organization while supporting cross training and attendance.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to pass a forklift certification class.
• Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position.

Responsibilities

• Accept donations from customers and provide outstanding service.
• Label items and ensure receipts are offered.
• Inquire about hazardous donations and advise on proper disposal.
• Write up sales tickets and signs for furniture and large items.
• Assist customers with loading/unloading merchandise.
• Maintain merchandise placement and production room organization.
• Load/unload merchandise onto/off trucks or trailers as needed.
• Safely operate pallet jack and walkie stacker.
• Conduct daily safety inspections of equipment and follow safety rules.
• Provide floor care duties as needed.
• Cross-train in other store positions as needed.
• Maintain regular in-person attendance.
