Job summary

New England Donor Services seeks an experienced ICU/CCU nurse, trauma nurse, or critical care clinician to join as a Donation Coordinator on-site. You will respond to donor referrals, evaluate and manage donor cases, and collaborate with multiple hospital teams to optimize organ recovery.

You will educate staff on the donation process, obtain consent from families, and support surgeons and critical care teams during organ recovery. Orientation and ongoing training are provided.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years clinical/critical care experience; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and insurance; extensive travel in New England.
• Live within an hour of Framingham, MA.

Responsibilities

• Respond on-site to organ donor referrals and provide clinical expertise.
• Educate hospital staff on the donation process and obtain consent.
• Coordinate with surgical teams and critical care staff to optimize organs.
• Travel across New England as needed; participate in on-call schedule.
