New England Donor Services is seeking an Organ Donation Coordinator (ICU RN or Respiratory Therapist) to respond on-site to donor referrals, evaluate and manage donors, and collaborate with hospital teams to optimize organ recovery. The role emphasizes clinical expertise, compassionate communication with families, and coordination across multiple facilities in New England.

Strong critical care background, willingness to travel, and a valid driver’s license are essential.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years clinical experience/critical care experience; CPTC certification a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; valid clinical credentials required.
• Must have valid driver’s license and be willing to travel extensively through New England.

Responsabilités

• Respond on-site to organ donor referrals to provide donor evaluation and management.
• Educate hospital staff on the donation process and obtain donor consent when appropriate.
• Coordinate with surgical teams and critical care staff to optimize organs for transplantation.
• Travel by personal vehicle across New England as part of the role.
